Job Summary:
This individual will support our manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards. This role is critical in inspecting, testing, and documenting quality-related data throughout the production process to help maintain high standards of product integrity and compliance. Work hours from 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM
Essential Job Requirements:
- Technical certificate or associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in the use of standard inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and basic statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong attention to detail, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality software, ERP systems, or CMMS is a plus.
Job Duties:
- Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts/products using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Perform quality tests and checks according to control plans, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming products or processes; assist in containment and corrective action efforts.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain accurate inspection and test records using manual logs or digital quality systems.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and help prepare necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to improve product quality and reduce scrap or rework.
Working Conditions:
- May involve standing for long periods and lifting light to moderate materials.
- Use of PPE and compliance with all safety standards is required
